Photographer’s insight: Assen, historical track, legendary in the two wheels world. However, unfortunately, times change and the beautiful track has turned into an ordinary one, but the environment. Yes, the environment: this is the real plus of this faboulous Grand Prix. People are the ones who can make it so special. And one thing still remains of the old spirit: the first curve with this corollary of spectators and almost free advertising! What a unique opportunity. Sometimes these are the pictures some companies ask for, in order to describe what MotoGP is (e.g. encyclopedia). And you must take advantage of it, at least while it lasts …

Mirco Lazzari was born in Imola, the land of engines. The bond between photography and passion for motorsports have brought him and his lens from the Super Touring to Endurance races, from Rally, Formula 1 up to MotoGP, of which he has been photographer since 2002. As a Nikon (NPS) professional photographer Lazzari has been cooperated with Getty, Marca and the biggest names of the Italian photography. If you have seen a picture of MotoGP championship in these years, there are plenty of possibility it belongs to Mirco.
