MotoGP: Suzuki Will Not Race In 2012
The severe economic conditions in Japan and the difficulties caused by natural disasters have led to Suzuki’s decision not to compete for the 2012MotoGP season.
2011 has been a very difficult year for Japan and 2012 will see companies and manufacturers pay the consequences: while the Honda HRC team will feature only two riders (instead of the three used in 2011), the historic home of Hamamatsu (Suzuki) has choosen to go on only for what motocross and street racing.
Howeverm, Suzuki is not giving its last farewell to MotoGP, but just a simple goodbye. The team that launched the talent of Alvaro Bautista is indeed planning to come back for the 2014 season. ”We are already designing a new prototype. We want to come back with a very competitive bike” they said in a recent interview.
Obviously we are waiting for them.
