MIVV and the Repsol Honda Team back together again with RTR
Mivv, a company specialising in the development and manufacture of special exhaust systems and silencers for motor vehicles, has confirmed its place once again as official partner in 2007 of the Repsol Honda team, last year’s MotoGP world championship winners.
To renew the agreement Mivv once again placed its trust in the consulting services of RTR Sports Marketing, a leading agency in the field of sports sponsorships which also saw through the deal in 2006.
Mivv’s adventure in MotoGP began in 2006, when the company’s logo appeared on the swingarm of the bikes ridden by Hayden and Pedrosa, the explosive pair who led the Repsol Honda team to victory in the world championship, in a finale full of dramatic turns of event. A great start, then, for Mivv, from the moment that HRC took first place in the Constructors’ Championship while Hayden, the undisputed star of the season, was crowned with the title of Riders’ World Champion.
In its role as official partner, Mivv will be able to display its own logo on the team’s bikes and use the team’s image and name in communications operations, as well as enjoy the use of hospitality areas on MotoGP racedays.
After its debut as world champion in the sports sponsorship market, Mivv is renewing its agreement with the Repsol Honda team in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and satisfaction. Danilo De Berardinis, Mivv’s Marketing and Development Manager, said: “Winning in our MotoGP debut was an exciting experience. We’re ready for a great season in 2007, which we’re going into with the aim of proving our strengths on the track and in the marketplace.”
Riccardo Tafà, RTR’s managing director, said: “A winning partnership comes out of a meeting between shared goals. Mivv hasn’t limited itself to sharing its company values of innovation, research and technology with HRC; the substantial experience it has acquired in its own sector also makes it a fundamental ally for the Repsol Honda team which aims at the continuous improvement of quality standards. This agreement, which comes on the back of a great victory, has everything it takes to continue the pursuit of success.”
