{"id":237096,"date":"2014-07-22T22:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-07-22T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/mxgp-nagl-honda-head-to-czech-rep-with-mixed-feelings\/"},"modified":"2024-08-09T02:06:54","modified_gmt":"2024-08-09T00:06:54","slug":"mxgp-nagl-honda-head-to-czech-rep-with-mixed-feelings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/en\/blog\/mxgp-nagl-honda-head-to-czech-rep-with-mixed-feelings\/","title":{"rendered":"MxGP: Nagl, Honda head to Czech Rep with mixed feelings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/nagl_gp13_fin2014l_05961-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-11109\" src=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/nagl_gp13_fin2014l_05961-3.jpg\" alt=\"max-nagl-honda\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>The <strong>Czech Republic<\/strong> plays host to round 14 of the <strong>MXGP<\/strong> series on <strong>26-27 July<\/strong>, which is held once again at the <strong>Loket<\/strong> track in the west of the country, near the <strong>German<\/strong> border.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The championship heads into the final furlong as <strong>Loket<\/strong> represents the start of the first of two back-to-back races that round out the season \u2013 from <strong>Czech Republic<\/strong> to <strong>Belgium<\/strong> followed by <strong>Goiania to Mexico<\/strong>, albeit after the summer break in the wake of the cancellation of the <strong>Ukrainian<\/strong> round.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last year Evgeny Bobryshev took third overall in the <strong>MXGP of the Czech Republic<\/strong> for Honda with fifth and third place finishes respectively in the two races, though unfortunately Max was sidelined with the Epstein-Barr virus. This year the fortunes are reversed as Bobby sits it out whilst in convalesce whilst Max continues to build upon his momentum of strong results since returning in Germany last month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Loket has been a mainstay of motocross in the region, tracing its roots back to <strong>October 197<\/strong>2. Since then, the hard-pack track has undergone many modifications and alterations but the result is a fantastic venue that the <strong>MXGP paddock<\/strong> enjoys racing at.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The race engenders a fantastic atmosphere with a well organised schedule of musical acts performing live on both Friday and Saturday and partying into the night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Czech Republic plays host to round 14 of the MXGP series on 26-27 July, which is held once again at the Loket track in the west of the country, near the German border.
