Sunday\u2018s second place podium finisher Lorenzo was the second fastest rider of the day whilst race winner Rossi wrapped up his post-celebrations testing day in fourth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\">The <b>Movistar Yamaha MotoGP<\/b> Team spent an extra day in Jerez today, following on from yesterday\u2018s stunning 1-2 race victory in the Gran Premio de Espa\u00f1a to take part in a one-day Official IRTA Test.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\">Aside from the three options of front tyre Michelin brought for the MotoGP field to test, the <b>Movistar Yamaha team<\/b> also focused on several elements to evaluate over the day. <b>Lorenzo<\/b> and <b>Rossi<\/b> tested multiple electronic settings for their <b>YZR-M1s<\/b> and made a further test of a rear fuel tank.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Lorenzo<\/b> completed a full day of testing, completing <b>59 laps<\/b> in total with a fastest time of <b>1\u201839.332<\/b> to finish in <b>second place<\/b>, just 0.19 seconds from the top of the timesheet. He also had the opportunity to test an optional exhaust before calling it a day on his first home Grand Prix weekend of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\">Teammate <b>Rossi<\/b> was back to work at the track following his stunning race win in yesterday\u2018s Jerez showdown where he scored his <b>113<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b> Grand Prix victory<\/b>. The Doctor completed <b>52 laps<\/b> as he also assessed the Michelin tyres as well as various other small details for his <b>YZR-M1<\/b>.
