{"id":237633,"date":"2016-11-10T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-11-10T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/motogp-final-outing-of-2016-for-lcr-honda-at-valencia\/"},"modified":"2024-08-09T02:52:45","modified_gmt":"2024-08-09T00:52:45","slug":"motogp-final-outing-of-2016-for-lcr-honda-at-valencia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/en\/blog\/motogp-final-outing-of-2016-for-lcr-honda-at-valencia\/","title":{"rendered":"MotoGP: Final outing of 2016 for LCR Honda at Valencia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Senza-titolo-1-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-15606 size-medium\" title=\"Valencia GP\" src=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Senza-titolo-1-3.jpg\" alt=\"Crutchlow-marquez\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>The <strong>MotoGP World Championship<\/strong> comes to a close this weekend at the <strong>Ricardo Tormo Circuit<\/strong> in Valencia, after what has been a pulsating 2016 season, featuring two glorious victories for the <strong>LCR Honda Team<\/strong> and their British rider <a href=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.co.uk\/cal-crutchlow-no-man-is-an-island\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cal Crutchlow<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>To celebrate his excellent performances this year, Crutchlow attended the EICMA motorcycle<\/strong> show in Milan this week to spend time with several of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lcr.mc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>LCR Honda Team\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>sponsors and meet hundreds of his adoring fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\">The icing on the cake for the team this year would be to secure the position of Top Independent Team rider, and with a 17-point advantage over his nearest rival, Crutchlow knows that an eighth place finish or better in Valencia would be enough to take the trophy back to the Isle of Man.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>#35 Cal Crutchlow<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u201cValencia is always a difficult one to try and win, because the Spanish are always so strong here, but I\u2019m looking forward to the last race of the season with the LCR Honda Team.
