2018 MotoGP Testing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Marc Marquez<\/strong> and Dani Pedrosa<\/strong> were both among just five riders who were able to lap under the 1\u201931\u201d barrier on the first day of testing in Thailand at the Buriram International Circuit<\/strong>. Marc set the third fastest time in 1\u201930.912\u201d, while Dani<\/strong> (who suffered an uneventful late morning crash in the final corner) was fifth fastest in 1\u201930.960\u201d, just 0.115\u201d and 0.163\u201d, respectively, down on fellow HRC rider Cal Crutchlow<\/strong>, the quickest man of the day.<\/p>\n

Making the best of a sunny and very hot day (air 35\u00b0C, track 50\u00b0), the Repsol Honda<\/strong> men endeavoured to adapt to and learn the unfamiliar layout while also working with their team to find a good base setup and continue the development of their RC213V<\/strong>. The final 15 minutes of the session was dedicated to practicing starts.<\/p>\n

Testing will continue for the next two days.<\/p>\n
