Here are some of their most compelling findings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>84% of businesses leaders believe that in-person events are critical to their company\u2019s success<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>most successful<\/strong> businesses are spending almost twice the average marketing budget on live events<\/li>\n<li>41% of marketers name live events as their most effective marketing channel &#8211; this is a huge increase from 2017, showing that events are becoming more, rather than less, important<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clearly, business leaders can see that there is value in live events &#8211; so if we\u2019re asking \u201c<strong>why do businesses sponsor events?\u201d<\/strong> following their lead is likely to be a good place to start.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sponsoring live events <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Bizzabo has broken down the stats on event sponsorship specifically, and as brands looking to answer <strong>why do businesses sponsor events,<\/strong> these numbers are likely to be hugely important. The company reveals that, up from 40% in 2010, 60% of event organizers now have a budget dedicated to measuring the value of sponsorship campaigns. Added to this, 16% consider finding sponsors to be the biggest challenge they face &#8211; so if you have a clear vision and can enact it well, this space is likely to be very successful for you.
