2020 MotoGP Calendar<\/h2>\n

As European nations struggle to see light at the end of the tunnel of the COVID-19<\/strong> nightmare, Dorna<\/strong> and the FIM<\/strong> have pieced together the pieces of a calendar MotoGP<\/strong><\/a> torn apart by the Coronavirus emergency. Nothing is certain yet, and no doubt much will depend on the development of the pandemic and the individual measures taken by states as they search for a difficult balance between economic recovery and public health.<\/p>\n

It is likely to be an Iberian-centric<\/strong> world championship, with eight out of 15 races held on Spanish soil between the four circuits of Jerez, Barcelona, Valencia<\/strong> and Aragon <\/strong>. There will be two Italian stages, at the Misano Adriatico circuit, and two also the Austrian ones at that Red Bull Ring from which the Formula 1 calendar also started.<\/p>\n

After the first Grand Prix in Qatar<\/strong> contested only by the Moto2\u2122\ufe0f<\/strong>and Moto3\u2122<\/strong> categories, followed by a mandatory stop, the next race will be the Gran Premio Red Bull de <\/strong>Espa\u00f1a<\/strong> <\/strong>scheduled for July 19 in Jerez de la Frontera<\/strong>. Seven days later, the Red Bull Grand Prix de <\/strong>Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong> will take place on the same track. On August 9<\/strong>, it will be time to watch the Monster Energy Grand Prix <\/strong>\u010cesk\u00e9<\/strong> <\/strong>republiky<\/strong> <\/strong>in the Czech Republic, on the Brno track, before another one-two punch at Spielberg <\/strong>to celebrate the myWorld<\/strong> <\/strong>Motorrad<\/strong> Grand Prix von <\/strong>\u00d6sterreich<\/strong> <\/strong>August <\/strong> 16 <\/strong> and the Grand Prix von <\/strong>Styria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After a two-week break, there will be another double date, this time at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli<\/strong>. The San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix<\/strong> will be celebrated on September 13<\/strong>. <\/strong>and seven days later it will be time forthe<\/strong>Emilia Romagna and Rimini Riviera<\/strong> Grand Prix<\/strong>. On September 27 <\/strong>, we will witness the Monster Energy de Catalunya Grand Prix<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After a short break, the next event will be onOctober 11<\/strong>, to celebrate the SHARK <\/strong>Helmets<\/strong> Grand Prix de France<\/strong>, an event that will anticipate the double event at MotorLand<\/strong> Aragon <\/strong>with the holding of the Michelin Gran Premio <\/strong>de <\/strong>Arag\u00f3n<\/strong> <\/strong>and the Gran Premio de <\/strong>Teruel<\/strong> <\/strong>on October<\/strong> 18 <\/strong>and 25<\/strong>, respectively.<\/p>\n

Following the two Aragonese events, the championship will have a two-week break before moving to the Circuit <\/strong>de<\/strong> Valencia – Ricardo Tormo where <\/strong>theEuropean<\/strong> Grand Prix<\/strong> will be held onNovember 8 <\/strong>, the following week the Gran Premio <\/strong>Motul<\/strong> de la <\/strong>Comunitat<\/strong> Valenciana <\/strong>will be celebrated, and then the championship will conclude in Portimao, <\/strong>Portugal, on November 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

With the exception of the races held in Misano and Le Mans, for the time being all Grand Prix were run without spectators. In Portimao, for the grand finale of the 2020 MotoGP Championship the possibility of public and operational VIP Village is expected.<\/p>\n

Dorna, the rights holder of the MotoGP World Championship, has released the provisional dates for the 2020 MotoGP Calendar.<\/p>\n

There are two major changes to the layout of the calendar, which will have 20 races this year instead of the traditional 19.<\/p>\n

The first is undoubtedly the return of the Grand Prix of Finland, after an absence of 39 years.
