Formula E is ready to restart with the addition of 3 new stages, 3 new cities that fit into a calendar that sees the start of the four-wheel electric series in Mexico City on January 14, 2023. In fact, in addition to <b>India<\/b> and <b>Brazil <\/b> <b>, South Africa <\/b>has been added <b>: Cape Town, Hyderabad and Sao Paulo <\/b>are the three new cities that will host the Formula E city circuits. But there are other news concerning season 9 compared to the provisional calendar that had been shared.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-7\">The season will consist of 17 races; in fact, Berlin will host a double race weekend on April 22 and 23, while the two races previously announced for Seoul have been removed from the calendar. The venues for Round 10 and 13 of the season are being finalized and will be announced soon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-8\">These are certainly the first big news of the upcoming season in addition to the long-awaited <b>new generation of single-seaters<\/b>. Instead, the inaugural race will be on January 14 in <b>Mexico<\/b> and no longer in <b>Saudi Arabia<\/b>, as was the case last season. In fact, the <b>Diriyah<\/b> circuit will host the second and third races and will be the first with double rounds on January 27 and 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-13\">It will then fly for the first time to <b>India<\/b>, where <b>Hyderabad<\/b> will become the focus of the fourth single-round race on Feb. 11, preceding the other new entry Cape Town, South Africa scheduled for Feb. 25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-14\">After a break of about a month, <b>Sao Paulo<\/b> will also be ready on March 25 for the first full-electric open-wheel event on Brazilian soil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-15\">After these &#8220;jaunts&#8221; between East and West, it lands in Europe with three E-Prix: the first two in <b>Berlin<\/b> on April 22 and 23 and the third in <b>Munich<\/b> on May 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-16\">Separating two other European stops such as <b>Rome<\/b> and <b>London<\/b> will be another trip to the Asian continent, to <b>Indonesia with Jakarta<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 ai-optimize-17\">Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E will end on July 30 in London, <b>UK-a <\/b> championship lasting about six months in total.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-18\">The new calendar testifies to the increased attention to electric championships.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-19\">Issues related to sustainability and pollution reduction are increasingly topical and important. Motorsport is doing a lot to succeed in pursuing &#8220;classic&#8221; championships in an increasingly sustainable way, but it is clear that electric alternatives such as <a href=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/en\/formula-e-sponsorship-2\/\">Formula E<\/a> and Moto E are slowly gaining more interest and attention. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-20\">The <strong>Formula E 2023<\/strong> calendar is clear proof of this; the number of cities involved is increasing, the number of stages is increasing, and the number of spectators interested in the championship is increasing. The involvement of the city audience certainly makes the show more enjoyable even live, and slowly the public is realizing that the races are just as fun and hard-fought as those in Formula 1.
