Pour entrer dans la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de produits<\/strong>, un article doit avoir une nature, une utilisation et une valeur commerciale identiques ou similaires.<\/p>\n<p>En dessous de la cat\u00e9gorie des marchandises, il existe trois autres d\u00e9finitions, qui sont plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9es : les macro-classes de marchandises, les classes de marchandises et les sous-classes de marchandises.<\/p>\n<p>Si l&#8217;on prend l&#8217;exemple des produits de consommation, nous aurions :<\/p>\n<pre><strong>Product category:<\/strong> cosmetics\r\n<strong>Product macro-class:<\/strong> skin care\r\n<strong>Product category:<\/strong> day cream\r\n<strong>Merchandise sub-class:<\/strong> re-densifying for dry skin<\/pre>\n<h2><strong>Bref historique des parrainages et des cat\u00e9gories de produits<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Le concept de cat\u00e9gorie de produits dans le domaine du <strong>parrainage sportif<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit lors de la pr\u00e9paration des Jeux olympiques de 1984 \u00e0 Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 cette occasion, le Comit\u00e9 olympique a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de limiter la confusion sur le sponsoring potentiel et de limiter le nombre de sponsors officiels de l&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e0 30, introduisant ainsi l&#8217;exclusivit\u00e9 de la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de produits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>C&#8217;est une r\u00e9volution pour le monde du <strong>marketing sportif<\/strong>, qui \u00e9tait jusqu&#8217;alors un territoire encombr\u00e9 d&#8217;obstacles. L&#8217;introduction de la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de produits<\/strong> a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 une grande victoire pour les partenaires et les sponsors, qui n&#8217;ont plus eu \u00e0 lutter contre la concurrence au sein d&#8217;un m\u00eame espace de communication.<\/p>\n<p>On comprend ais\u00e9ment l&#8217;exclusivit\u00e9 de la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de produits<\/strong> offerte aux entreprises partenaires d&#8217;un championnat, d&#8217;une \u00e9quipe ou d&#8217;un \u00e9v\u00e9nement, surtout lorsqu&#8217;on constate la certitude de ne pas avoir d&#8217;entreprises concurrentes, ce qui maximise l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 du parrainage.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, tout cela g\u00e9n\u00e8re un effet de cascade inattendu : il est peu probable qu&#8217;un sponsor laisse la place \u00e0 ses concurrents et, plut\u00f4t que de perdre l&#8217;occasion, il est donc pr\u00eat \u00e0 renouveler son contrat de sponsoring sportif. <a href=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/en\/blog\/motorsport-sponsorship-opportunities-2\/\"><strong>sponsoring sportif<\/strong><\/a> pour plusieurs ann\u00e9es, offrant ainsi de plus grandes garanties aux organisateurs. C&#8217;est le cas de Coca-Cola, McDonald&#8217;s, VISA et d&#8217;autres entreprises qui, pendant des d\u00e9cennies, ont fi\u00e8rement arbor\u00e9 les drapeaux des principaux \u00e9v\u00e9nements sportifs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>De l&#8217;exclusivit\u00e9 de la cat\u00e9gorie de produits au partenaire de cat\u00e9gorie<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Au fil des ann\u00e9es, la fermeture des <strong>cat\u00e9gories de produits<\/strong> au sein d&#8217;une m\u00eame propri\u00e9t\u00e9 sportive est devenue un atout si strat\u00e9gique qu&#8217;elle s&#8217;est de plus en plus cristallis\u00e9e en v\u00e9ritables cat\u00e9gories de parrainage.<\/p>\n<p>Il suffit de regarder les sponsors officiels du <strong>championnat MotoGP<\/strong> (il en va de m\u00eame pour tous les championnats importants) pour voir comment la d\u00e9finition du sponsor int\u00e8gre la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de produit<\/strong>. Tissot est le chronom\u00e9treur officiel, Michelin est le pneu officiel de la cat\u00e9gorie <strong>MotoGP<\/strong>, BMW M est la voiture officielle, Singha est la bi\u00e8re officielle et DHL est le transporteur officiel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-19194 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/rtrsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/sponsorship-3.png\" alt=\"parrainage\" width=\"600\" height=\"280\" \/>Dans ce cas, l&#8217;exclusivit\u00e9 de la cat\u00e9gorie n&#8217;est pas seulement une garantie pour l&#8217;entreprise sponsor, mais aussi un outil de communication efficace qui permet de r\u00e9affirmer et de renforcer le prestige de l&#8217;entreprise et la supr\u00e9matie de la concurrence.<\/p>\n<p>Cela ne s&#8217;applique pas seulement aux sponsors officiels d&#8217;un championnat, mais aussi aux fournisseurs, aux partenaires et \u00e0 toutes les cat\u00e9gories de <strong>sponsoring sportif<\/strong>. Paradoxalement, une \u00e9quipe, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement ou un championnat ne peut pas avoir une infinit\u00e9 de parrainages : pour chaque bien, il ne peut y avoir qu&#8217;un seul parrain pour la <strong>cat\u00e9gorie de<\/strong> <strong>produits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Utiliser les cat\u00e9gories de produits<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;un des documents les plus pr\u00e9cieux fournis par les \u00e9quipes aux agences de parrainage est la disponibilit\u00e9 ou non des <strong>cat\u00e9gories de produits<\/strong> au cours d&#8217;une p\u00e9riode donn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque \u00e9quipe et organisation dispose d&#8217;un dossier dans lequel elle r\u00e9pertorie les cat\u00e9gories, les macro-classes libres et la dur\u00e9e des accords. Il est inutile, par exemple, de proposer \u00e0 la Juventus un autre partenaire dans le domaine des assurances, tant qu&#8217;il y a Allianz, ou un producteur de caf\u00e9 tant qu&#8217;il y a Segafredo, ou un constructeur automobile tant que le logo Jeep reste sur le maillot des <em>bianconeri<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame dans ces arguments, la v\u00e9ritable valeur d&#8217;une agence de <strong>marketing sportif<\/strong> ou de parrainage est justifi\u00e9e : la capacit\u00e9 de comprendre les opportunit\u00e9s qui s&#8217;offrent de temps \u00e0 autre \u00e0 certaines marques et entreprises.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, m\u00eame dans ce cas, l&#8217;appel du bricolage est \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main &#8211; mais le risque est de perdre du temps et de risquer la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9, en d\u00e9pensant du temps et des ressources uniquement pour se heurter \u00e0 des portes ferm\u00e9es qui emp\u00eachent de poursuivre. C&#8217;est le cas pour certains secteurs de produits dans certains sports.
