Le montant rapport\u00e9 pour l&#8217;op\u00e9ration est d&#8217;environ <strong>20 millions d&#8217;euros<\/strong>, mais ce chiffre doit \u00eatre lu pour ce qu&#8217;il est : la valeur d&#8217;une transaction sp\u00e9cifique portant sur une \u00e9quipe satellite, et non un prix de march\u00e9 repr\u00e9sentatif de l&#8217;ensemble de la MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p>Quand on le confronte au benchmark le plus pertinent, l&#8217;\u00e9cart saute aux yeux. <strong>La valeur moyenne des \u00e9quipes de Formula 1 a \u00e9t\u00e9 estim\u00e9e \u00e0 3,42 milliards de dollars en novembre 2025<\/strong>, tandis que les revenus annuels de la F1 ont atteint 3,873 milliards de dollars en 2025. Sur la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, la MotoGP a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 573 millions de dollars de revenus annuels.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport entre les revenus F1 et MotoGP s&#8217;\u00e9tablit donc \u00e0 environ 6,8x, soit grosso modo 7x. Le rapport entre les valorisations moyennes des \u00e9quipes est bien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, et r\u00e9v\u00e8le une compression du multiple que le march\u00e9 n&#8217;a pas encore combl\u00e9e. Autrement dit, le prix refl\u00e8te encore une \u00e9poque r\u00e9volue, en d\u00e9calage avec le potentiel r\u00e9el de l&#8217;actif.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Trois chiffres \u00e0 retenir<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>20 millions d&#8217;euros.<\/strong> C&#8217;est le prix rapport\u00e9 pour Tech3, pas la valeur moyenne d&#8217;une \u00e9quipe MotoGP. C&#8217;est le plancher du march\u00e9 sur une transaction particuli\u00e8re, pas le centre de la distribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>37 contre 1.<\/strong> C&#8217;est l&#8217;ordre de grandeur du rapport entre la valeur moyenne d&#8217;une \u00e9quipe F1 et celle d&#8217;une \u00e9quipe MotoGP aujourd&#8217;hui, en prenant comme r\u00e9f\u00e9rence les 3,42 milliards de dollars de valorisation moyenne en F1 face \u00e0 des prix bien inf\u00e9rieurs en MotoGP. Le rapport sur les revenus, lui, reste bien plus resserr\u00e9 : environ 7 contre 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4,2 milliards d&#8217;euros.<\/strong> C&#8217;est l&#8217;enterprise value de l&#8217;acquisition de Dorna par Liberty Media, op\u00e9ration finalis\u00e9e en 2025 pour une participation de 84 %. C&#8217;est le signal le plus fort que Liberty consid\u00e8re la MotoGP comme un actif \u00e0 repositionner commercialement.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le mod\u00e8le F1<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Lorsque <strong>Liberty est entr\u00e9 en F1 en 2017<\/strong>, une \u00e9quipe du milieu de grille valait environ 160 \u00e0 200 millions d&#8217;euros ; aujourd&#8217;hui, ce m\u00eame type d&#8217;\u00e9quipe se n\u00e9gocie autour de 1,5 \u00e0 2 milliards d&#8217;euros. La progression moyenne, soit 15 \u00e0 20x en huit ans, ne tient pas seulement \u00e0 la performance sportive.<\/p>\n<p>Trois moteurs principaux l&#8217;expliquent : <strong>la mont\u00e9e en puissance du public am\u00e9ricain<\/strong>, <strong>l&#8217;effet m\u00e9diatique de <em>Drive to Survive<\/em> \u00e0 partir de 2019<\/strong> et le <strong>budget cap introduit en 2021<\/strong>, qui a transform\u00e9 de nombreuses \u00e9quipes de centres de co\u00fbts en structures \u00e9conomiquement plus viables. S&#8217;y est ajout\u00e9e la valorisation progressive des droits m\u00e9dias et l&#8217;essor de la demande des sponsors, notamment aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Liberty a clairement affich\u00e9 sa volont\u00e9 d&#8217;appliquer une partie de ce playbook \u00e0 la <strong>MotoGP.<\/strong> La question n&#8217;est donc pas de savoir si le march\u00e9 va bouger, mais \u00e0 quelle vitesse il sera capable de le faire.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Les catalyseurs MotoGP<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les 18 \u00e0 24 prochains mois concentrent plusieurs \u00e9v\u00e9nements susceptibles de faire \u00e9voluer les valorisations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&#8217;Accord Concorde MotoGP.<\/strong> L&#8217;accord quinquennal de redistribution des revenus constitue le premier vrai point de bascule. Si la formule de reversement aux \u00e9quipes se rapproche d&#8217;une logique plus mature et plus pr\u00e9visible, les multiples auront tendance \u00e0 progresser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La docus\u00e9rie MotoGP.<\/strong> Liberty a confirm\u00e9 la production d&#8217;une s\u00e9rie consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la MotoGP, avec l&#8217;ambition de reproduire, au moins partiellement, le mod\u00e8le d&#8217;expansion de marque d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9prouv\u00e9 en F1. L&#8217;effet sera probablement plus modeste en MotoGP, en raison d&#8217;une base de d\u00e9part plus \u00e9troite, mais la direction est la m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&#8217;expansion aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/strong> La MotoGP ne dispute aujourd&#8217;hui qu&#8217;une seule \u00e9preuve sur sol am\u00e9ricain, \u00e0 Austin. Un second Grand Prix, s&#8217;il venait \u00e0 se concr\u00e9tiser, pourrait renforcer la visibilit\u00e9 commerciale et la valeur des partenariats, mais ce sc\u00e9nario reste une perspective, pas un acquis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le budget cap MotoGP.<\/strong> Le sujet en est encore au stade des discussions, sans mise en \u0153uvre d\u00e9finitive. Si un plafonnement des co\u00fbts venait \u00e0 \u00eatre instaur\u00e9, la valeur des \u00e9quipes satellites pourrait progresser plus rapidement que celle des structures aujourd&#8217;hui les plus d\u00e9pendantes des constructeurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La situation KTM.<\/strong> Le risque le plus concret reste la stabilit\u00e9 du constructeur. Ce sont des projections de sc\u00e9nario, utiles pour cerner le potentiel de rerating, et non des valorisations de march\u00e9 d\u00e9j\u00e0 constitu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Les erreurs les plus fr\u00e9quentes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;erreur la plus r\u00e9pandue consiste \u00e0 lire les 20 millions d&#8217;euros de Tech3 comme \u00ab le prix d&#8217;une \u00e9quipe MotoGP \u00bb. Ce n&#8217;est pas \u00e7a : c&#8217;est le prix d&#8217;une transaction sp\u00e9cifique portant sur une \u00e9quipe satellite, dans un contexte particulier.<\/p>\n<p>La deuxi\u00e8me erreur est d&#8217;utiliser les multiples NFL ou NBA comme benchmark r\u00e9aliste pour la MotoGP. La comparaison est trompeuse, car ces march\u00e9s ob\u00e9issent \u00e0 des dynamiques de cap salarial, de droits t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s et de maturit\u00e9 commerciale radicalement diff\u00e9rentes. <strong>Le benchmark le plus pertinent, aujourd&#8217;hui, reste la F1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La troisi\u00e8me erreur consiste \u00e0 traiter les catalyseurs futurs comme des acquis. Le second Grand Prix am\u00e9ricain, le budget cap MotoGP, l&#8217;impact plein de la docus\u00e9rie et le nouveau accord de distribution sont autant d&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ments susceptibles d&#8217;animer le march\u00e9, mais ils doivent pour l&#8217;heure \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des hypoth\u00e8ses ou des trajectoires possibles, et non comme des r\u00e9sultats act\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Comment lire le moment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pour les \u00e9quipes en qu\u00eate de nouveaux partenaires commerciaux, le bon message n&#8217;est pas \u00ab nous co\u00fbtons moins cher \u00bb, mais \u00ab vous entrez dans une fen\u00eatre temporelle o\u00f9 le rerating est encore possible \u00bb. En MotoGP, les prix sont aujourd&#8217;hui plus proches de ce qu&#8217;\u00e9tait la F1 il y a quelques ann\u00e9es que de ce qu&#8217;elle est maintenant \u2014 et <strong>cette asym\u00e9trie est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qui m\u00e9rite attention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les sponsors, le co\u00fbt de l&#8217;attente peut \u00eatre quantifiable. Si le championnat parvient \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer sa structure commerciale, un package de sponsoring achet\u00e9 aujourd&#8217;hui \u00e0 un certain niveau pourrait se n\u00e9gocier bien plus cher d&#8217;ici 18 \u00e0 24 mois. C&#8217;est la logique classique des classes d&#8217;actifs en phase de repricing.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les investisseurs institutionnels et les family offices, le raisonnement est encore plus lisible : la MotoGP n&#8217;est pas un actif \u00e0 mon\u00e9tiser en douze mois, mais une th\u00e8se \u00e0 construire sur un horizon de trois \u00e0 cinq ans. Si l&#8217;horizon est plus court, le profil rendement\/risque se d\u00e9grade rapidement.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>La question d\u00e9cisive<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La bonne question, pour chaque acteur concern\u00e9, est simple : puis-je me permettre un horizon de trois \u00e0 cinq ans ?<\/p>\n<p>Si la r\u00e9ponse est oui, la MotoGP offre aujourd&#8217;hui une fen\u00eatre int\u00e9ressante de rerating potentiel. Si la r\u00e9ponse est non, le moment n&#8217;est pas encore venu d&#8217;entrer.<\/p>\n<p>Acqu\u00e9rir aujourd&#8217;hui une \u00e9quipe MotoGP \u2014 ou y entrer en tant que <strong>title sponsor<\/strong> \u2014 s&#8217;apparente \u00e0 l&#8217;achat d&#8217;un bien immobilier dans un quartier dont le plan d&#8217;urbanisme a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9, mais dont la nouvelle ligne de m\u00e9tro n&#8217;est pas encore ouverte.
