Mas o que muitas pessoas talvez n\u00e3o saibam \u00e9 a hist\u00f3ria por detr\u00e1s da imagem distintiva da DHL. N\u00e3o se trata apenas de uma hist\u00f3ria de <strong>branding empresarial <\/strong>, mas de uma fascinante intersec\u00e7\u00e3o entre a perspic\u00e1cia empresarial e o mundo de alto risco das corridas de F\u00f3rmula 1.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-8\"><strong>Eddie Jordan: O homem por detr\u00e1s da mudan\u00e7a de marca ic\u00f3nica<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-9\">O homem no centro desta hist\u00f3ria \u00e9 <strong>Eddie Jordan<\/strong>, um antigo piloto de corridas que se tornou magnata dos neg\u00f3cios e que fundou a <strong>equipa Jordan F1 em 1991<\/strong>. Apesar de um per\u00edodo relativamente curto como piloto de corridas, o astuto sentido comercial de Jordan rapidamente o tornou uma for\u00e7a a ter em conta na arena <strong>da F\u00f3rmula 1<\/strong>. A parceria durou at\u00e9 \u00e0 sa\u00edda da Jordan F1 do desporto, em 2005, sobrevivendo mesmo \u00e0s regras cada vez mais rigorosas da FIA, a entidade que rege a F1, sobre a marca de cigarros nos carros de corrida. A publicidade passou de Benson &amp; Hedges para Bitten Hisses, depois para Buzzing Hornets em 1998 e, finalmente, para Bitten Heroes em 2001, consoante a regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds em mat\u00e9ria de publicidade aos cigarros.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-13\">Em 2000, entrou em cena outro interveniente, o Deutsche<strong>Post,<\/strong> que se tornou patrocinador da equipa de F1 da Jordan. Em 2002, a Deutsche Post adquiriu a DHL, uma empresa de log\u00edstica fundada nos Estados Unidos, e lan\u00e7ou a ideia de fazer da DHL um dos principais patrocinadores. A proposta inclu\u00eda tamb\u00e9m uma mudan\u00e7a no design dos carros da equipa para a marca branca e vermelha da DHL, com a qual Jordan concordou.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-14\"><strong>O desafio: Uma proposta arrojada e uma revolu\u00e7\u00e3o na marca<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-15\">Mas uma obriga\u00e7\u00e3o contratual com a <strong>Benson &amp; Hedges<\/strong>complicou as coisas. O acordo estipulava que os <strong>carros de F1 da Jordan deviam ostentar uma pintura amarela e vermelha<\/strong>. Confrontado com um potencial conflito entre dois grandes patrocinadores, Jordan convocou uma reuni\u00e3o com a Deutsche Post e a DHL para propor uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o ousada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-16\">Jordan contou esta reuni\u00e3o crucial num podcast com o antigo piloto de F1 David Coulthard. Desafiou a DHL a reconsiderar as cores da sua marca, argumentando: \u201cPediste-me para tentar fazer da DHL a maior marca de log\u00edstica do mundo e, na situa\u00e7\u00e3o atual, n\u00e3o o posso fazer. Todos os gurus do marketing te dir\u00e3o que nunca deves mudar as cores da tua marca, mas neste caso tens de arriscar e pagar a despesa para obteres ganhos a longo prazo\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ai-optimize-17\"><strong>O resultado: Rebranding ic\u00f3nico da DHL e reconhecimento global<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-18\"><strong>A DHL aceitou o desafio e, numa atitude ousada, adoptou a agora ic\u00f3nica marca amarela e vermelha<\/strong>. \u00c9 uma prova do sucesso deste rebranding que, mais de duas d\u00e9cadas depois, a DHL continua a operar com este esquema de cores.
