Sponsoring: CMS x LCR Honda MotoGP Team 2019

Seit 1996 ist CMS (Consolidated Motor Spares) ein führendes Unternehmen für Ersatzteile und Zubehör für Motorräder und ATVs. Mit mehr als 4 Millionen verschiedenen Teilen und mehr als 36.000 Modellen haben sich die Niederländer ihren Weg unter die besten Marken der Branche gebahnt.

Jetzt, im vierten Jahr in Folge, hat CMS seine Sponsoring-Vereinbarung mit dem LCR Honda MotoGP Team erneuert. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine Chance, internationale und enorme Sichtbarkeit zu erlangen und die Marketingpositionierung der Marke CMS zu stärken: Wenn “parts for a better ride” das Firmenmotto ist, was wäre dann besser geeignet als der Gipfel des Motorsports selbst?

Das CMS-Logo – und der ikonische Junge im Manga-Stil – werden während der MotoGP-Meisterschaft 2019 auf den RC213Vs von Cal Crutchlow und Taka Nakagami zu sehen sein. Außerdem wird es auf den Online- und Offline-Marketingmaterialien des Teams, neben den Trucks, Boxen und Garagen zu sehen sein.

Die Dauer dieser Partnerschaft – und die Aufnahme von Takaaki Nakagami in den Dienstplan – zeigt, wie gut und effektiv diese Partnerschaft für beide Seiten war. Internationalität spielt dabei eine zentrale Rolle: Während CMS über seinen exzellenten Webshop seine Produkte und Dienstleistungen an Kunden in der ganzen Welt verkaufen kann, dient die MotoGP-Meisterschaft mit ihren 19 Rennen, die in 2017 in verschiedenen Ländern übertragen werden, als erstklassige Marketingplattform rund um den Globus.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects. Why has this relationship with Riccardo endured ? He’s smart, knows the commercial side of sport inside out and back to front and he’s honest and trustworthy. Riccardo Tafà is a “doer” not a “talker”: in over 20 years I have never had a dispute either with him or with a company that he has introduced and each partnership introduced by Riccardo has delivered quantifiable ROI to rights holder and sponsor alike. I can think of no better testimonial of Riccardo’s diligence, knowledge, contact base and hard work than that.
