Licences : Piaggio et Coty x Vespa Fragrance

Piaggio, la marque de moteurs basée à Pontedera, et le géant de l’industrie cosmétique Coty ont conclu un accord pour le premier parfum de la marque Vespa. Trait d’union pour cette affaire, une fois de plus, le travail et l’expertise de RTR Sports marketing.

Née en 1946 de la vision novatrice d’Enrico Piaggio, la Vespa a toujours été une merveille unique en son genre dans le paysage automobile et culturel. Véritable icône du style, de la mode et de l’élégance, le scooter Vespa a relié des générations et interprété des rêves – comme dans“La Dolce Vita” de Fellini – devenant rapidement l’un des symboles les plus reconnus et les plus aimés d’Italie. Avec un nombre étonnant de 16 millions de pièces vendues dans le monde entier, la Vespa a réussi à franchir les frontières sociales, économiques et géographiques comme aucun véhicule ne l’avait fait auparavant.

Cela dit, aucune maison de cosmétiques au monde n’aurait pu mieux s’adapter à l’héritage de Vespa que Coty, l’une des principales sociétés de parfums de la planète. Avec plus de 110 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de la beauté, l’entreprise fondée par François Coty en 1904 est aujourd’hui une référence dans l’industrie de la parfumerie et des cosmétiques.

Excellence, internationalité, passion : tels sont les liens entre ces deux entreprises extraordinaires. Et ce sont les piliers du parfum Vespa pour lui et pour elle, vendu en Europe et aux États-Unis à partir du printemps 2014.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects.
