Über das Projekt

Mit seinen 26.000 Mitarbeitern ist Atlas Copco der schwedische multinationale Weltexperte für Kompressoren, Tiefbau- und Bergbauausrüstung, Industriewerkzeuge und Montagesysteme.

Teil der italienischen Abteilung Atlas Copco Italia ist die “Tools Division”, die pneumatische und manuelle Industriewerkzeuge an Handwerker und Profis vertreibt.

Das Unternehmen von Fausto Gresini, Gresini Racing, kann auf 12 Jahre Erfahrung und Know-how zurückblicken. Es nimmt jedes Jahr an der Motorradweltmeisterschaft teil und hat zweimal den Meistertitel in der 125er-Klasse gewonnen.

Das Team Telefonica MoviStar Honda hat in der Meisterschaft 2001 in der 250er-Kategorie ebenfalls die von Gresini Racing entwickelte Struktur verwendet.

Die Kampagne, die RTR für Atlas Copco als Sponsor und offizieller Ausrüster für die Motorradweltmeisterschaft 2001 organisiert hat, wird es dem Unternehmen ermöglichen, seine Ziele zu erreichen:

  • Einführung der Marke bei einem viel breiteren Publikum als dem Fachbereich, auf den sich das Unternehmen normalerweise bezieht
  • Durch die Nutzung der von der Organisation der Weltmeisterschaft angebotenen “Gastfreundschaftsdienste” wird Atlas in der Lage sein, neue Geschäftskontakte zu knüpfen und schließlich neue Kunden zu gewinnen.
  • Nutzung des Namens und des Images der Mannschaft und der damit verbundenen kommerziellen Anziehungskraft und Sichtbarkeit für jede Werbe- und Kommunikationsmaßnahme, die das Unternehmen durchführt.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects. Why has this relationship with Riccardo endured ? He’s smart, knows the commercial side of sport inside out and back to front and he’s honest and trustworthy.
