Über das Projekt

Arnette: ein Synonym für bequeme Sonnenbrillen im Wraparound-Design, die von vielen Sportlern wegen ihres geringen Gewichts und ihrer hervorragenden Passform gewählt werden. Nachdem sie Valentino Rossi ausgewählt hat, um für ihre Modelle zu werben, begibt sich Arnette an den Strand, um sich 2002 den italienischen Beachvolleyballerinnen von Gattelli – Perrotta anzuschließen.

Die beiden Strandläuferinnen trugen bei allen nationalen (Adecco Cup 2002) und internationalen (World Tour 2002) Wettkämpfen das Modell “Deuce” aus der Arnette-Reihe.

RTR definierte die Partnerschaft zwischen dem Unternehmen und den italienischen Spielern und schlug Arnette – ein echter Kult für junge Leute, die Sport, Energie und einen freien Geist lieben – vor, sich an die Strände zu begeben, die von jungen Leuten so geliebt und frequentiert werden, und eine Sportart zu wählen, die am besten die Eigenschaften einer jungen, dynamischen und lebendigen Marke verkörpert.

Zu diesem Zweck erwies sich die Wahl von zwei dekorierten Champions wie Daniela Gattelli und Lucilla Perrotta, die gerade von einer brillanten Leistung bei den Olympischen Spielen in Sydney zurückkamen und nun fest in den Top Ten der Weltrangliste stehen, als perfektes Zusammenspiel.

Die Operation wird der Marke Arnette eine hohe Sichtbarkeit garantieren, sowohl in Bezug auf die direkte Präsenz in der Öffentlichkeit, dank des von Jahr zu Jahr wachsenden Erfolges der Besucherzahlen beim Beachvolleyball, als auch in Bezug auf das Medieninteresse, mit Live- und Vorberichterstattung auf Rai Sport Sat, Radioverbindungen und Platz in der wichtigsten nationalen Sportpresse.
RTR bekräftigt seine Führungsrolle im Sportmarketing und seine Schlüsselrolle als strategischer Berater für alle Unternehmen, die Sportmarketing zu einem starken Punkt in ihrer Kommunikationsstrategie machen wollen.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects.
