Euro adalah salah satu pemimpin Italia dalam teknologi telepon seluler. Baru-baru ini, mereka meluncurkan jajaran jam tangan olahraga baru, “The Sport Watch”, sebuah produk yang inovatif dan menarik: di antara banyak fungsi yang dimilikinya adalah anemometer, altimeter dan penghitung detak jantung.

Motor Show 2002 di kota Bologna, Italia, telah dipilih sebagai lokasi yang tepat untuk menjadi tuan rumah promosi “The Sport Watch”; RTR telah merencanakan dan mengorganisir Euro Srl untuk menjadi sponsor resmi untuk area paling funky dan paling ramai di seluruh acara, yang disebut “Euro The Sport Watch Arena”.

Berbagai kompetisi (mobil dan sepeda motor, di lintasan reli dan aspal) yang diselenggarakan di arena ini adalah yang paling menarik dan spektakuler di seluruh Motor Show: mulai dari Ferrari hingga go-kart, dari Minardis hingga Alfa, dari Supermotard hingga kompetisi gaya bebas, para penonton tidak dapat menahan diri untuk tidak hadir di sana.

Pentingnya dan pengaruh acara Bologna di pasar Italia yang membuat RTR memilih Motor Show sebagai titik awal yang tepat untuk kampanye promosi “The Sport Watch”; faktanya, setiap tahun Motor Show menarik jutaan orang, dan tahun ini jumlah pengunjung meningkat hingga 1.125.000 orang, naik 3% dibandingkan dengan edisi sebelumnya.

Saat itu, merupakan kesempatan yang ideal bagi publik untuk mengetahui tentang jam tangan sport baru ini; jam tangan yang diciptakan untuk memenuhi keinginan dan kebutuhan, jenis pelanggan yang mungkin menarik perhatian Motor Show.

Hanya dalam satu hari, Sabtu 7 Desember, sebanyak 55.000 pengunjung memadati area “Euro The Sport Watch Arena” untuk menyaksikan pit stop Ferrari F2002.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects.
