Sobre o projeto

A Seat (“Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo”) é a lendária empresa automóvel espanhola que passou a fazer parte do grupo Volkswagen no início dos anos 90. A partir de 2003, a Seat será o patrocinador oficial de Daniela Gattelli e Lucilla Perrotta, atualmente dois dos nomes mais fortes do voleibol de praia internacional. A Seat quis ligar e vincular o seu nome a um desporto que pudesse transmitir a sua ideia de espírito competitivo, energia, vitalidade, velocidade e diversão. A RTR, graças ao seu conhecimento de tudo o que é desporto, propôs uma colaboração com o vólei de praia e com as campeãs europeias; duas atletas conhecidas em todo o mundo e que se enquadram perfeitamente no tipo de mensagem que a Seats quer transmitir. Daniela e Lucilla vestirão e utilizarão tops, bandanas e tudo o que necessitarem durante a Volta ao Mundo e o Campeonato de Itália terá o logótipo da Seat. Graças a esta colaboração entre as duas atletas e a Seat, a Marca será promovida a nível mundial; Daniela e Lucília participarão no World Tour e serão protagonistas de muitas competições em vários países, Brasil, Estados Unidos, China, Japão, Noruega, Grécia, Itália… Não só haverá grandes momentos desportivos, mas estes eventos representarão também uma poderosa ferramenta de marketing para a promoção da marca; confirmando mais uma vez o importante papel que o desporto pode desempenhar no mundo dos media. Desde há muitas épocas, Daniela Gattelli e Lucilla Perrotta são consideradas uma das melhores duplas do circuito internacional e italiano de voleibol de praia. Venceram o Campeonato da Europa na Suíça em 2002, acrescentando assim mais uma vitória à sua longa lista de sucessos, obtidos tanto em Itália como a nível internacional. Participa nos Jogos Olímpicos de Atenas em 2004.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects. Why has this relationship with Riccardo endured ? He’s smart, knows the commercial side of sport inside out and back to front and he’s honest and trustworthy. Riccardo Tafà is a “doer” not a “talker”: in over 20 years I have never had a dispute either with him or with a company that he has introduced and each partnership introduced by Riccardo has delivered quantifiable ROI to rights holder and sponsor alike. I can think of no better testimonial of Riccardo’s diligence, knowledge, contact base and hard work than that.
