Sobre o projeto

Arnette: sinónimo de óculos de sol confortáveis, envolventes e de design extremo, escolhidos por muitos campeões desportivos pela sua leveza e excelente ajuste. Depois de ter escolhido Valentino Rossi para promover os seus modelos, Arnette vai à praia para se juntar às parceiras italianas de voleibol de praia Gattelli – Perrotta em 2002. Com efeito, as duas atletas de praia vestirão o modelo “Deuce” da gama Arnette em todas as competições nacionais (Adecco Cup 2002) e internacionais (World Tour 2002). A RTR definiu a parceria entre a empresa e os jogadores italianos, sugerindo à Arnette – um verdadeiro culto para os jovens amantes do desporto, da energia e do espírito livre – que se desloque para as praias, tão apreciadas e frequentadas pelos jovens, e que escolha um desporto que melhor encarne as caraterísticas de uma marca jovem, dinâmica e animada. Para tal, a escolha de duas campeãs de renome como Daniela Gattelli e Lucilla Perrotta, que acabaram de regressar de um brilhante desempenho nos Jogos Olímpicos de Sydney e que se encontram atualmente entre as dez primeiras do ranking mundial, revelou-se uma combinação perfeita. A operação garantirá uma grande visibilidade para a marca Arnette, tanto em termos de exposição direta ao público, graças ao sucesso crescente das entradas registadas no circuito de voleibol de praia de ano para ano, como em termos de interesse mediático, com a cobertura em direto e pré-gravada na Rai Sport Sat, ligações de rádio e espaço na principal imprensa desportiva nacional.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects.
