Allison INC, empresa líder en ideación, producción y distribución de gafas de alta calidad, se unió a una de las regatas de vela internacionales más famosas y concurridas. La edición de 2003 de la Barcolana ha alcanzado el récord absoluto de 1.982 inscritos, con 24.000 regatistas y 250.000 espectadores.

Allison participó en la 36ª edición de la Barcolana, en 2004, celebrada en Trieste del 1 al 10 de octubre, con su marca Cerruti Orange, que ha sido la gafa oficial de esta renombrada kermés náutica.

Allison logró así el objetivo de comunicar de forma alternativa con un público deportivo y apasionado, en perfecta consonancia con el objetivo de la marca. Las gafas de sol Cerruti Orange, con lente polarizada, están especialmente indicadas para las personas que practican vela o deportes acuáticos. El encuentro con Barcolana permitió a Allison subrayar este plus fundamental.

La presencia de Cerruti Orange se destacó con un gazebo personalizado donde fue posible ver la colección Cerruti 1881 Sport Eyewear Collection y probar las gafas. Dos azafatas vestidas con ropa Cerruti personalizada asignaron vales de descuento para gastar en los distribuidores de óptica. Además, Cerruti Orange Eyewear honró a la tripulación ganadora de las regatas más importantes con momentos dedicados a la entrega de premios. Allison fue también protagonista de una de las fiestas nocturnas de Barcolana titulando con su nombre la regata nocturna llamada “Gran Premio Barcolana Allison” y consiguiendo con ello una visibilidad muy alta garantizada por los números de proa de los veleros.

RTR seleccionó Barcolana como demostración capaz de exaltar la esencialidad de la alta tecnología de Cerruti Orange Eyewear, su diseño ganador y sus detalles refinados. RTR combinó las características de Cerruti Orange Eyewear con los valores de la vela: tecnología punta, altas prestaciones, libertad y pureza.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years.
