Mais de 800 jogadores, 356 jogos, 52 árbitros, 9 coordenadores, 18 campos, 171 equipas, 60 bolas, 36 postes de rede: estes são apenas alguns dos números que compõem o “Beach Volley Festival”, organizado pela RTR para a Coca-Cola. O objetivo da Coca-Cola era animar algumas das melhores praias de Savona com actividades de grande impacto; saúde, diversão e envolvimento para famílias, adolescentes, rapazes e raparigas foram os temas principais do festival. Ao mesmo tempo, era importante mostrar a gratidão da Coca-Cola a todos os proprietários de estabelecimentos balneares e melhorar ainda mais a relação entre eles e a empresa. A RTR escolheu o voleibol de praia como a atividade perfeita para esta campanha, uma vez que representa perfeitamente o espírito de equipa e o companheirismo da Coca-Cola. De facto, o voleibol de praia é um desporto que cria uma fusão harmoniosa e equilibrada entre a praia, a areia, o mar e a atividade física, dando ao público a possibilidade de satisfazer a sua sede com bebidas refrescantes e o seu desejo de entretenimento com jogos divertidos. A equipa vencedora foi celebrada com uma festa final da Coca-Cola. Foi organizada uma happy hour musical com animadores, a fim de envolver o maior número possível de pessoas na atmosfera borbulhante. Foram distribuídos gadgets da Coca-Cola a todos os participantes, para que pudessem levar uma recordação do evento para casa. Para completar, o comediante Enrique Balbontin, também conhecido como “Il Savonese”, apimentou a festa num crescendo que terminou com a cerimónia de entrega dos prémios. Tanto durante os jogos como na festa, o evento registou recordes de assistência, o que permitiu à Coca-Cola alcançar o seu objetivo prefixado de se apresentar com uma imagem fresca, original, livre e fácil; tudo isto graças à criação, organização e coordenação do evento pela RTR.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects.
