Sobre o projeto

A Lonsdale London, uma marca dinâmica com forte apelo no mundo do casual wear, desejava atingir o seu target de uma forma original e memorável. Para atingir este objetivo, a RTR concebeu uma parceria entre a Lonsdale e o Salão Automóvel de Bolonha, o evento italiano mais espetacular no mundo das duas e quatro rodas. Os jovens na faixa etária dos 18 aos 24 anos, que é o alvo da Lonsdale, representam 41% dos mais de 1.200.000 visitantes do Salão Automóvel (com base nos números de 2004). A Lonsdale equipou a área de competição do Salão Automóvel de 2005. A “Lonsdale Arena” tornou-se o centro das mais emocionantes exibições de corridas de automóveis. A empresa criou um novo logótipo muito original para a ocasião, com um grafismo que evoca o mundo do automobilismo através de elementos que evocam as pistas de corridas ou um volante com um design dos anos sessenta. A visibilidade da Lonsdale foi total: cartazes nas entradas principais, nos portões de partida, nas torres de iluminação e na área de competição foram todos personalizados com o novo logótipo, que também esteve presente em todos os comunicados de imprensa relativos às competições desportivas, na terceira página de capa do Catálogo Oficial do Salão do Automóvel e em todos os mapas da área de exposição no mesmo catálogo e informações de imprensa, bem como na secção dedicada à área de competição no site oficial do Salão do Automóvel www.motorshow.it. A RTR também organizou e dirigiu, em nome da Lonsdale, um evento dentro da área VIP do salão para mais de 100 convidados selecionados, que viveram a atmosfera emocionante do Salão Automóvel de uma perspetiva privilegiada, desfrutando da presença das patronesses da Lonsdale Arena Nina Moric e Carolina Marconi. Todos os pormenores foram tratados com cuidado: desde o catering muito original, à base de chocolate e iguarias, até à descida ao Lonsdale Arena por parte das duas mecenas.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects. Why has this relationship with Riccardo endured ? He’s smart, knows the commercial side of sport inside out and back to front and he’s honest and trustworthy. Riccardo Tafà is a “doer” not a “talker”: in over 20 years I have never had a dispute either with him or with a company that he has introduced and each partnership introduced by Riccardo has delivered quantifiable ROI to rights holder and sponsor alike.
