A Euro é um dos líderes italianos em tecnologia de telemóveis. Recentemente, lançou a sua nova gama de relógios desportivos, “The Sport Watch”, um produto inovador e excitante: entre as suas muitas funções encontram-se o anemómetro, o altímetro e o contador de batimentos cardíacos. O Salão do Automóvel de 2002, na cidade italiana de Bolonha, foi escolhido como o local perfeito para acolher a promoção do “The Sport Watch”; a RTR planeou e organizou a Euro Srl para ser o patrocinador oficial da área mais divertida e animada de todo o evento, chamada “Euro The Sport Watch Arena”. As muitas competições (carros e motos, em pistas de rally e de asfalto) organizadas nesta arena foram as mais excitantes e espectaculares de todo o Salão Automóvel: desde Ferraris a karts, de Minardis a Alfas, de Supermotard a competições de freestyle, o público não podia resistir a estar lá. Foi a importância e a influência que o evento de Bolonha tem sobre o mercado italiano que levou a RTR a escolher o Salão do Automóvel como o ponto de partida perfeito para a campanha promocional “The Sport Watch”; de facto, todos os anos o Salão do Automóvel atrai milhões de pessoas, sendo que este ano as presenças ascenderam a 1.125.000, um aumento de 3% em relação à edição anterior. Foi, então, a ocasião ideal para o público conhecer estes novos relógios desportivos; relógios que foram criados para se adaptarem aos desejos e necessidades do tipo de clientes que o Salão Automóvel atrai. Em apenas um dia, sábado 7 de dezembro, 55.000 visitantes lotaram a área “Euro The Sport Watch Arena” para assistir ao pit stop do Ferrari F2002. A RTR deu à Euro Srl a fantástica oportunidade de lançar o seu mais recente produto com originalidade e criatividade: oferecer emoções fortes ao público e, ao mesmo tempo, promover e publicitar a marca.

I have known and worked with Riccardo Tafà since 1995 when we collaborated for the first time on a project for the Williams Formula 1 team. Several clients followed. After leaving Williams to work for Gerhard Berger then owner of the Toro Rosso F1 Team, I turned again to Riccardo to seek his help in finding a tool supplier for the team and Riccardo duly obliged with an introduction to USAG, a partnership with Toro Rosso which endured for five years. I recently started a new role as Group Commercial Director for the renowned Andretti Autosport organisation and I find myself working with Riccardo once again on a number of interesting projects. Why has this relationship with Riccardo endured ? He’s smart, knows the commercial side of sport inside out and back to front and he’s honest and trustworthy. Riccardo Tafà is a “doer” not a “talker”: in over 20 years I have never had a dispute either with him or with a company that he has introduced and each partnership introduced by Riccardo has delivered quantifiable ROI to rights holder and sponsor alike.
