Just in time for his 29th birthday, it was posted, that two time world champion Casey Stoner will make his short return to MotoGP in late october.

As HRC confirmed, the aussie completes two days of testing with a factory Honda RC213V at Twin Ring Motegi, Japan. Not only will he provide his feedback for the 2015 Bridgestone tires, but also for the new Michelin ones. The french tire factory replaces the long-time supplier Bridgestone in 2016, who’ll withdraw from the world championship completely.

With the help of a talented and established rider like Casey Stoner, the improvement and development of the new tires will hopefully not only be faster, but also a lot more promising.

Stoner, who retired from MotoGP in 2012 as current world champion, already tested for Honda in 2013, but hasn’t moved a prototype bike ever since.

He was well known for his straightforward statements and a riding style, that could only be described as extreme. No rider ever drifted as much as Stoner did, with the sensor for traction control as turned down as possible. This unique riding style won’t spare the tires, but shows how they work under extreme conditions.

By now, many fans around the world hope for a comeback, but against the wishes of many enthusiasts, a further testing or a return of Stoner to the MotoGP paddock was expressly denied by HRC.

Riccardo was born in Giulianova, graduated in law at the University of Bologna and decided to do something else. After a stint at ISFORP (public relations training institute) in Milan, he moved to England. He began his career in London in PR, first at MSP Communication and then at Counsel Limited. Then, following his unhealthy passion for sport, he moved to Jean Paul Libert's SDC and started working in two and four-wheelers, this was in 1991/1992. A brief move to Monaco followed, where he worked alongside the owner of Pro COM, a sports marketing agency founded by Nelson Piquet. He returned to Italy and started working in the first person as RTR, first a consulting firm and then a sports marketing company. 
Back in 2001 RTR won the ESCA award for the best sports MKTG project in Italy in the year 2000. Among other things, RTR obtained the highest score among all categories and represented Italy in the ESCA European Contest. From that moment on, RTR will no longer participate in other national or international awards. Over the years he takes some satisfaction and swallows a lot of toads. But he is still here, writing in a disenchanted and simple manner, with the aim of giving practical (unsolicited) advice and food for thought.
