Snow & Ice Driving Course
Datalogic is the biggest producer in Europe, and one of the biggest in the world, of barcode readers, mobile computers for field data collection and systems based on RFID technology. The company employs a total of 979 staff and counts many important companies among its customers, including Blockbuster, BMW, Dell, Deutsche Post, DHL, Ferrero and FIAT.
The company felt the need to reward the loyalty of its best customers. Therefore, RTR proposed an incentive event that could combine the commercial side of a company meeting with a more light-hearted, fun-based one. The snow and ice driving course with Subaru vehicles was chosen, on the ice-covered track of Fondo Grande di Folgaria, a splendid location in the province of Trento.
The event’s guests met up in Folgaria on the evening of February 13th and stayed overnight at the Golf Hotel, in the vicinity of the circuit. The following day saw the actual course programme get underway with theory lessons, practice sessions and laps of the track, all interspersed with company meetings and informal gatherings. At the end of the course, certificates of attendance were awarded, followed by a farewell dinner.
All of the participants appreciated the programme and were enthused by the results of the course, which artfully blended fun, competition and team building.
