MotoGP Sponsorship: CMSNL x LCR Honda MotoGP Team

Motorcycle spare parts powerhouse CMSNL and MotoGP team LCR Honda have shaken hands again and renewed their collaboration for the 2023 and 2024 MotoGP World Championship. It’s the eighth and ninth year together for the pair: a joyful, fruitful collaboration that started back in 2016 thanks to the consultancy and support of RTR sports marketing.

At a stunning 4.3+ Million spare parts, CMSNL is the largest stockist in Europe and one of the world’s biggest online resellers. The dutch company can provide spares and support for more than 36,000 models form 1959 onwards and deliver to over 60 countries. In this spare parts bonanza, Honda plays a major role and CMSLN can supply more than 1,9 Million parts for Honda Motorcycles, mopeds, AtVs, and gear.

The partnership with one of HRC’s marquee names, LCR Honda, does therefore make a lot of sense.

Lucio Cecchinello and his team have been a robust, fierce companion for the Japanese manufacturer and will once again line up two Rc213Vs on the 2023 grid. Spaniard Alex Rins has joined the team in 2023, followed by Frenchman Johann Zarco in 2024, while Taka Nakagami will keep his place on the #30 machine.

The CMSNL logo will be featured on the side fairings and the tail of the LCR Honda bikes, while other extensive marketing benefits, including premium hospitality opportunities and the use of the showbike for events and tradefairs, make for a complete and sumptuous marketing package.

Riccardo Tafà, Managing director for RTR Sports Marketing, is obviously pleased with the renewal of the deal. “It’s beautiful to see them grow together year after year. They know each other very well and both have great marketing teams working very well together. It’s seamless, now. When you have these long partnerships it’s a blessing, because the rough patches and usual bumps of the beginnings are long gone and all they do now is profit from this friendship and this collaboration”
