The agreement will see the department store’s Viajes El Corte Inglés brand become La Liga’s official travel agency for the 2017/18 season, in a deal which covers both the top-flight La Liga and the second-tier Segunda Division.

“We are very satisfied that a company with the experience and recognition of El Corte Inglés has joined the football family,” said Javier Tebas, president of La Liga.

“This union with one of the most important national brands is a demonstration that the value of La Liga continues to grow, as well as our effort to be linked to brands which offer fans of Spanish football a 360-degree experience.”
