Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and DESCENTE Ltd. have signed an Official Sponsorship and Official Supplier agreement for the Yamaha Factory Racing team (currently Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) competing in MotoGP and Yamaha’s road racing and motocross teams.
The members of the above-mentioned teams will wear apparel supplied by DESCENTE at the races and official tests of their respective series. (*)
The contract also gives DESCENTE exclusive rights for the manufacture and sales of replica versions of the official team wear.
Mr. Masatoshi Ishimoto, President of DESCENTE Ltd., said he was extremely happy with the new contract with Yamaha Motor. “I hope that the highly technical and development skills that go into the creation of all Descente goods will represent a contribution to the success of all the teams that wear them”, he said.
